Tonn and Blank Construction, Franciscan Health and Lafayette Family YMCA partnered to build medical offices attached to new YMCA facilities. Tonn and Blank Construction worked with the YMCA and Franciscan owners, as well as the architects to ensure project needs were met and the facilities support one an- other. This project consisted of a 68,000 square foot Medical Office Building that is a slab-on-grade, two story, type B occupancy. Exterior skin consisted of an exterior insulation and finish system, curtain wall, and 6’x6’ punched windows, and a fully adhered EPDM rubber roof system. Structure consisted of a steel open web joist and girder system.
Both the first and second floor interiors consisted of a central core made up of electrical/telecom and mechanical closets, two elevators, a main corridor, and a central lobby. All other interior areas were initially left as shelled spaces. Tonn and Blank was later contracted to construct 45,000 square feet of Tenant Office build-out.
