Project Description

The new 50,000 square foot building located in Chesterton, Indiana, is the region’s only 24/7, free standing emergency department. As an extension of Franciscan St. Anthony, the new Health and Emergency Center needed to be designed and built to provide the same high-quality services provided at the Hospital.

The first floor of this facility is a stand-alone Emergency Department and consists of three triage rooms, waiting area, grief room, 11 exam rooms, trauma room, laboratory, two draw rooms, CT Scan, Ultrasound, Radiology, and an MRI. The second floor is a medical office building with 19 treatment rooms occupied by seven physicians of varying practices.
