The ENR Midwest region includes Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin, an area that’s over 1,200 miles long east to west and almost as long north to south. Our initial listing of Midwest Top Contractors shows robust growth that continues to outpace estimates for the region.

ENR’s recently published Top 400 Contractors ranking noted that large contractors are still seeing strong growth with some posting record years. The Top 400, as a group, generated a record $373.98 billion in contracting revenue in 2017, an increase of 2.1% from 2016’s $366.41 billion. One of the longest domestic upswings on record has been particularly kind to the great plains, riverside development in Missouri and Kentucky and even the small towns of Nebraska.
