As of April 1st, 2024, we’ve accomplished something truly extraordinary: 1,000,582 man-hours worked without a lost time injury and 610,607 man-hours worked without a recordable incident. This milestone speaks volumes about our collective dedication to safety and excellence. Executive support and employee commitment to adopting Tonn and Blank’s safety culture and practices, along with company growth, accelerated the process of reaching this mark.

What exactly is a safe man-hour?

A safe man-hour, by definition, is a man-hour of work completed without any lost time, injury or accident. It is a crucial indicator and a clear reflection of the performance of a contractor’s health and safety policies and procedures.

Tonn and Blank Construction has recently earned CCS-IDOL Certified Partner status by the Coalition for Construction Safety (CCS). This is CCS’s highest ranking and is recognized by the Indiana Department of Labor and IOSHA. Read more about this accomplishment here.
