The $137 million new inpatient pavilion and expanded ER broke ground on May 26. The new pavilion will house a state-of-the-art obstetrics unit, an inpatient rehabilitation unit and hospice facilities. To accommodate the consolidation of emergency services at Olympia Fields, the expanded ER will nearly double its current capacity. The inpatient pavilion will feature all private inpatient rooms and expanded parking. This project is set to be complete in 2018.
